Senior Full Stack Developer - 6 month Fixed Term

The role

DDB Group Aotearoa is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our fast-paced team for a 6 month Fixed Term . You’ll be looking after a variety of creative projects across some of New Zealand’s most-well known and loved brands. We have a digital team of 45 specialists that love the internet, technology and creativity, all playing a part in creating great work for our clients.

You’ll have demonstrated experience with most of the languages or tools below and be familiar with all or prepared to learn and upskill quickly.

JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.JS, Headless CMS (e.g. Sanity), APIs (REST and GraphQL), Node.JS, Gatsby, Git, Jira, AWS (S3, API gateway, EC2, RDS, Dynamo DB, Lambda etc), Headless ecommerce (e.g. Shopify Hydrogen).

What will you bring?

With at least 7 years’ relevant experience, you’ll bring a passion for modern web technologies, write clean code that scales and work well with other developers, designers, creatives and project managers in the team.

You’ll be working closely with various areas of the business; therefore, excellent communication skills are essential to the role. We are all passionate about what we do and love to share knowledge, so a genuine interest in all things digital goes a long way!
