Group Financial Controller

DDB Group is looking for a Group Financial Controller to join our dedicated and busy finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO and operating as a 2IC, you’ll oversee the financial operations, financial reporting, business planning and analysis of the DDB Group companies.

 

This role is critical in driving financial performance through robust financial management, commercial finance support & insights, cost optimization, profitability analysis, financial system oversight and enhancements, and financial & tax governance. You’ll lead a high performing team and take ownership of keeping regular performance reviews, check-ins and being able to delegate where applicable.

 

What will you bring?

We’re looking for someone who has worked in a similar group environment, preferably in a creative- or media agency space, with at least 7-10 years of accounting experience. You’ll be an effective leader, looking after a high performing team, and an expert when it comes to your accounting knowledge.

 

You’ll be responsible for translating financial procedures and requirements to non-financial stakeholders across the business, good communication and relationship building skills are essential. With a high attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and well-developed interpersonal skills, you’ll be a go-to for all things finance.
