Frontend Developer

We’re looking for a Front End Developer to join our digital agency, working in an innovative and tight knit team.

The role

DDB Group Aotearoa is seeking a Front End Developer to join our fast-paced team. You’ll be looking after a variety of creative projects across some of New Zealand’s most-well known and loved brands. We have a digital team of 45 specialists that love the internet, technology and creativity, all playing a part in creating great work for our clients.

You’ll have demonstrated experience with most of the languages or tools below and be familiar with all or prepared to learn and upskill quickly.

JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.JS, TailwindCSS, GSAP, Three.js, Framer Motion, WebGL, Git, Jira, Headless ecommerce (e.g. Shopify Hydrogen).

What will you bring?

With at least 4 years’ relevant experience, you’ll bring a passion for modern web technologies, write clean code that scales and work well with other developers, designers, creatives and project managers in the team. In particular you will be familiar with web-based animation, and have a creative focus for making engaging interactive experiences come to life.

You’ll be working closely with various areas of the business; therefore, excellent communication skills are essential to the role. We are all passionate about what we do and love to share knowledge, so a genuine interest in all things digital goes a long way!
