DDB Group is looking for Senior Social Manager. Working closely with the DDB Group Social team, you will collaborate with some of New Zealand's most iconic brands.

You'll have the opportunity to set the standard for what good social looks like for DDB and the industry. You will help build brands by creating people first social, guide our clients and team on best practice social and drive exceptional social performance on all channels.

You’ll be a passionate Social Media specialist who lives and breathes social and can do tactical social channel planning but with the creative bent to deliver inspiring content as well.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-4 years prior media/social agency experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of best practice cross-media techniques.
  • Confident and strategic experience in planning and buying ad campaigns across all social self-service media platforms and with partner media agencies.
  • The ability to work quickly and see ideas from ideation to delivery.
  • Manage client social channels, lead campaigns, and work closely with agency creatives & content creators
  • The ability to think critically about creative in relation to brand social strategy.
  • Inspire best practices for our client partners and the agency through your work and the knowledge you bring.
  • Bring foresight, organization, problem solving and confidence for your clients. Can hit the ground running with agency experience, familiar with the processes within the building.
  • And most important align to DDB’s values, talented and nice.

 

Selection Criteria:

  • Proven experience as a key member of a Digital or Social Team successfully implementing social plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving social work with conversational capital.
  • Proven ability to execute creative social solutions under tight deadlines, balancing feasibility, objectives, and budget.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • An understanding of and commitment to working within an agency environment across disciplines and clients
